About Me

About Me

Cristina developed a fervent love for graphic design when she realized she could make artwork with a purpose, and manifest that ability into a meaningful and creative career. She now works as a full-time graphic designer at the design studio Trace Element in Dallas, Texas, and utilizes her background in studio art to bolster her communicative and illustrative designs.

Fascinated by the variety that comes with working with different brands and industries, she believes her designs must be informed by her client’s unique communication objectives. She takes pride in not having a signature design or illustration style, and strives to remain visually versatile for the individual and strategic needs of her clients. Plus, solving creative challenges for other people is pretty fun.

When she’s not pushing pixels around, Cristina likes to bake gluten-free sweets, have an on-and-off relationship with coffee, buy house plants (and then not know how to take care of them), and discover new illustration techniques both analog and digital. She’s also a transient internet thief, and knows where all the best WiFi spots are in the Dallas area.
